- Beginner to amateur
- Amateur to advanced
- Advanced to fighter
MMA gloves are lighter compared to boxing gloves. They often have a 6 or 7 ounce padding. This is a lot thinner than a boxing glove. Which means that the impact of your punches is harder and your hand is less protected. Therefore you should always wear hand wraps when you have MMA gloves on. The advantage of these gloves compared to boxing gloves is that you have the option of grabbing someone. We offer four different models:
- MMA gloves without thumb
- MMA gloves with thumb
- MMA gloves with thumb and extra padding on the knuckles
- MMA gloves with thumb and extra padding on the knuckles
The difference between MMA gloves with or without thumb is that when you wear a glove without a thumb you have a better grip during training and sparring. The disadvantage of this is that there is an increased chance on injuries. The MMA gloves with extra padding on the knuckles are often used for sparring and are also suitable for padding or for punching bag training.
